What Is Exercise Physiology?
Exercise Physiology is the clinical application of movement to prevent or manage a wide range of health conditions. AEPs are university-qualified allied health professionals trained to deliver exercise programs for:
- Injury rehabilitation
- Chronic disease management
- Neurological, metabolic, and cardiovascular conditions
- Mental health support
- Fitness and performance goals
Unlike a personal trainer, an AEP combines medical knowledge with movement science to ensure safe, long-term improvements in function and well-being.
